Eddy Vitalone

Baroque Pop

Name E-mail address

Eddy Vitalone is a French artist born in Moulins in 1984. After studying Applied Arts in object design, he spent 5 years training at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Clermont-Ferrand, in the Applied Arts section. Inspired by the environment in which he lives, Eddy Vitalone likes to take liberties with the concepts he has been taught. He has a great admiration for the designers of the 1970s-1980s, for fluorescent colors and new media. Inspired by Pop Art and the great masters such as Picasso and Miro, his painting is raw, intuitive and full of color.

Eddy has been painting for as long as he can remember, but it's only in the last 4 years that he's found himself propelled onto the international scene, thanks to numerous galleries promoting his work in France, Italy, Poland, the USA, Israel, Dubai...
Its success is growing, and there are many opportunities to collaborate on new projects.

With humor and poetry, he depicts caricatured, stereotyped characters and animals. The often luminous, shimmering colors of his characters produce a strong visual impact.

He brings to life the comic strip and cartoon characters of his childhood. Eddy mixes universes and characters, creating his own animated world where we often come across Daffy Duck, Betty Boop, Scrooge, Jessica Rabbit, Bip Bip and the Coyote or even Bugs Bunny... in genre scenes where humor reigns.
