White Man

This photograph belongs to the Blum series and features an iconic model who is also a tattoo artist. Entitled White Swan, it shows the model dressed in a white ballet costume, in reference to the famous ballet Swan Lake. Thanks to the lenticular photography technique, the image evolves: the model undresses, gradually revealing her tattoos, like a second outfit. The work plays on the contrast between the delicate imagery of the ballet dancer and the rawer world of the tattoo, highlighting two facets of femininity.
